13 Reasons Why has our heart. Weeks after the Selena Gomez production hit our streaming consciousness, we’ve been hooked and haven’t been able to let go. And while we’ve loved the cast of this show du jour in different measures, one actor particularly stood out for being subtle, moody and the best friend we all wish we had, even when we pushed them away. We’re talking about 25-year-old Christian Navarro, who plays Tony Padilla. Here’s what you need to know about him...

Christian has been a part of shows before. He’s been part of shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Blue Bloods, The Affair, Rosewood and Vinyl.

This namesake of his — a rather good-looking model who cropped up in our Google image search. From what we dug out (which amounted to quite little since it’s in a foreign language), it’s apparent his face has been places. And the model has Jisus as a nickname. Go figure!

THE GIRLFRIEND

Well, from what we can tell, her name is Shazi Raja, she hangs out with the 13RW gang, features on the show High Maintenance (HBO) and is originally a Pakistani (from Rawalpindi). From what we’ve heard, they’ve been dating for a year now.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

That Mustang he so lovingly cares for, on 13RW, isn’t for show. He races at the go-cart tracks in his spare time. One Instagram post had him calling life in the fast lane, addictive. He loves hiking, too!
