Here's what Anushka Sharma plays in Sanjay Dutt's biopic

Anushka Sharma’s Phillauri has released and she is all set to do a cameo in the Sanjay Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor. Ask Anushka about it and she says, “I just shot for my part in Bhopal. I have a very short role, it’s an interesting appearance.”

There are stories doing the rounds which claim Anushka plays a lawyer. But the heroine dismisses them. “No, I am not playing a lawyer. It’s a very interesting role in the context of the film. I am not allowed to reveal anything more than this.”

A little more prodding and she gives in, “I play a fictional character in the biopic. I play someone who actually didn’t even exist in Dutt’s life. That’s all I can say right now.”

The Other Women

Sonam Kapoor plays one of his love interest from the ’80s. Karishma Tanna plays another girl Sanjay falls for whereas Dia Mirza essays the role of Manaayata Dutt and Manisha Koirala and Paresh Rawal play the role of Dutt’s parents.
