Here's what Aditya Roy Kapur's next film is going to be!

Aditya Roy Kapur has had a rough innings at the box-office. His last two releases — Fitoor and OK Jaanu — were backed by big production houses and were mounted on a huge scale. However, they both failed to generate any excitement at the cash registers. And in B-Town, any actor is only as good as the business his last movie has done, especially when he is not counted among the big players. While many trade analysts feel that producers will be wary of signing him, hope is at hand. The actor admits that he’s ‘in talks for a few films’.

When we ask him about it, he hesitates to reveal the name of the film or the banner that’s producing it. But he confirms, “I have liked a light-hearted movie which is again another romantic film. But it’s quite an interesting one. That’s all I would say for now.” Is it Raat Baaki? He rubbishes off the rumours, “I have not been offered that film.”

Right now, it’s not clear if this film will be produced by his brother Siddharth Roy Kapur’s new production house. However, the fact is that both the brothers have a lot of goodwill in the industry. It would be foolish to write off Aditya just yet. Don’t forget that Akshay Kumar had a spate of 11 flops to his credit at the beginning of his career before he found success.

An industry source close to the actor says, “Aditya is not a bad actor. It’s just that he has not been able to pick the right films. He has worked with good directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mohit Suri and Ayan Mukerji. It’s just a matter of time and he will bounce back.”
