Here's how the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma plan to introduce the new Tapu - Raj Anadkat!

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, for the last few episodes, has one of the pivotal characters missing. Tapu! Yes, the kid from the show Bhavya Gandhi has quit and the makers were busy looking for a replacement. Now, they have found it.

Raj Anadkat will officially enter the show as Tapu next week. Bhavya apparently looked too old to play Tapu and hence the makers decided to get a change in casting. 

But the makers have a set plan already to introduce the new Tapu. According to an online report on glamgold, "It’s his birthday and Tapu Sena decides to celebrate it in style. Society is decorated and a party is planned. After initial confusion Tapu’s father Jethalal promises to pay all the expense bills. And in the party a brand new Tapu returns – all grown up and suave, who is smart, witty, sensible and he is also generation Y. The character Tapu is very helpful and sensitive but he is also in college."
