Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds said Gwen Stefani's 'Hollaback Girl' could not be used as the signature song for Deadpool as it was too expensive for the movie.

Reynolds is glad his first choice for the signature song was too expensive for the movie, because the second option - Salt-N-Pepa's 'Shoop' was much better, reported Entertainment Weekly.

"'The Shoop' idea came because what we had written into the script we couldn't afford, which was 'Hollaback Girl' by Gwen Stefani," Reynolds said. "We got 'Shoop' instead because it was less expensive, but also it was so much better for the movie."
