Here's how much Akshay Kumar is charging for '2.0 - Sequel of Robot'

Akshay Kumar decided to surprise all his fans as he announced his next project. This time, possibly the biggest film of his career so far. Akshay is all set to play the baddie in Rajinikanth's 2.0 - Sequel of Robot which has already gone on floors this week. But do you know how much he charged for the film? A whopping Rs 25 crore!

While the film is touted to be the highest budgeted film in the history of Indian cinema and is expected to take Indian films at par with global standards, Akki will be paid a huge sum to play the arch nemesis to Thalaiva. The team is also planning to get international experts from every field to do the costumes, the background music, the VFX and action stunts as well. 

A sequel to the much successful Robot, 2.0 was supposed to roll on with Arnold Schwarzenegger essaying the role of the titular villain. But things didn't work out and soon, names like Hrithik Roshan and Neil Nitin Mukesh were out in the media as contenders for the role. But it was only about time that Akki decided to make the interesting revelation. 

2.0 is expected to release early 2017.
