Here's how Bollywood celebrates 'Ganesh Chaturthi' in movies

Keeping the Indian vibe intact, Bollywood music industry has rarely lost focus on producing culture-based songs. Selecting a few super-hit tracks from the Bollywood productions, dna compiles six most-loved Ganpati numbers.

Jai Dev Jai Dev from 'Vaastav: The Reality'

This prayer sung to seek blessings fom Lord Ganesha during the Ganpati festival, was remoulded in 1999 for the movie 'Vaastav: the Reality' starring Sanjay Dutt. The prayer, which was earlier restricted to Maharshtra, spread widely across the globe after the movie released gaining mass traction. 

'Shree Ganeshaye Dheemahi' from 'Viruddh... Family Comes First'

Sung in Shankar Mahadevan's melodious voice, 'Shree Ganeshaye Dheemahi' is a relatively milder song as compared to other Ganpati songs. The beautiful offering is from Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Viruddh... Family Comes First' released in 2005.

'Deva Shree Ganesha' from 'Agneepath'

Sung by Bollywood singer Ajay Gogavale, 'Deva Shree Ganesha' was used in the remake of 'Agneepath' by Karan Johar in 2012. With 'Deva Shree Ganesha', Hrithik Roshan also joined the league of stars who have contributed to the playlist specially complied on the ocassion of 'Ganesh Chaturthi'. 

'Mourya Re' from 'Don'

Another classic dedicated to Lord Ganesha in the remake of Don in 2006. The song became an enthralling offering as the King of Bollywood 'Shah Rukh Khan' danced to the tunes of 'Mourya Re' — written by Javed Akhtar, sung by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

'Deva Ho Deva' from '' from 'Hum Se Badhkar Kaun'

This is one Bollywood classic from 'Hum Se Badhkar Kaun' which has been creating waves even now. During the festival, it's impossible not to hear 'Deva Ho Deva' at least once! You would agree, right?

'Sadda Dil Vi Tu' from 'ABCD'

Just the way this movie tried to do something different, music directors also seem to have put their hearts into the 'Sadda Dil Vi Tu'. Like most of other Bollywood movies, the song comes during the most crucial part of the movie. The most latest offering by Bollywood is a track that you must have on your playlist.
