Reality shows are a very popular genre of television around the world, with the likes of The Simple Life and The Bachelor as well as Roadies, and Bigg Boss in India drawing multitudes of viewers. So, if you’ve ever dreamt of watching a reality show focused on pets, this is your lucky day.

Keeping Up with the Kattarshians — a pun on the show that launched Kim K and her family to stardom, Keeping up with the Kardashians — is a small-time reality show that follows the everyday life of four nine-week-old kittens living in a dollhouse.

Guðni, Stubbur, Briet, and Ronja were rescued along with their mother from an industrial area in Reykjavik, Iceland. Eventually, local news website Nútíminn partnered with the cat shelter Kattavinafélagið (The Cat-Friendship Society) caring for the felines, and planned a show to raise awareness to help stray cats find homes.

Simple in design, the show has three cameras set up in a relatively large doll house that houses the kittens, and live-streams the video online 24 hours a day.

Animal lovers are invited to watch the felines play, eat, and sleep together, in the hopes that they’ll eventually be adopted. Nútíminn even says the project was officially approved by the Icelandic Humane Society.

Each cat even has its own history and personality described on the show’s Facebook page.

So far, one of the kittens has already found a loving home through the program, though the other three still patiently wait their turn. In the meantime, the videos are still racking up hundreds of thousands of views everyday.
