Hawkeye is Team Captain: Jeremey Renner reveals details on 'Captain America: Civil War'

The film will pick up where 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their efforts to safeguard humanity.

Actor Jeremy Renner has revealed that his character Hawkeye will be on Captain America's side in Captain America: Civil War. The upcoming movie features the conflict between the Cap (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) will see Hawkeye siding with the First Avenger, reported Aceshowbiz.

"I don't know, they wrote me in that side. It made sense to me." Realizing his slip, he quickly joked, "Maybe I switched sides!" Renner, 44, said.

The film will pick up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their efforts to safeguard humanity.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the movie also features other Marvel major superheroes such as Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

It will also be a place where Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and the new Spider-Man (Tom Holland) will make debut.

The film is scheduled for May, 2016 release.
