National Geographic Studios will release in April the Harrison Ford-narrated, large-screen film Living in the Age of Airplanes, about the history of aviation, the studio announced.
Directed by Brian J Terwilliger (One Six Right), the film shot in 18 countries. The pic features an original score by James Horner (Avatar) and cinematography by Andrew Waruszewski.
"With this film, we want to re-ignite people's wonder for one of the most extraordinary aspects of the modern world," Terwilliger said in a release.
Ford, 72, and his love of airplanes have been in the news recently. He is an experienced pilot, licenced to fly helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft.
