At least that seems to be the case with Ganesh Venkataraman, who is on a film signing spree. First it was Theeya Velai Seiyanum Kumaru, where Sundar C signed on Ganesh as the second male lead. Now within weeks of that announcement, Ganesh is on his way to happyland again with director Lingusamy offering him a role in Ivan Vera Mathiri.

Ganesh plays the role of a cop again in this new flick and shooting has already begun.  “It is a coming together of a commercially successful director and a producer with a proven box office track record, why would I say no to such a project?,” opens Ganesh as we catch up with him.

“It’s a very young and energetic unit which thinks very differently and I am having a blast shooting with director Saravanan. I play a super cop with a no-nonsense attitude. Wearing the uniform is inspiring and I am going to kick some serious arse in the film — the director has promised me that this cop will be remembered,” Ganesh adds.

So is this all you could have asked for your New Year, we ask in conclusion... “Yes, I couldn’t have asked for a better start to 2013. The kind of attention I am getting and the projects that are coming my way — I feel really blessed,” Ganesh concludes.
