Amitabh Bachchan turns 74 today. The legendary actor has gifted us with innumerable hits, the latest one being Pink. But his acting prowess makes us believe he could pull off some great roles in Hollywood too. And not just a cameo like in The Great Gatsby. We list down 5 roles we'd like him to play on screen.

Morgan Freeman - God Almighty

Who better than Big B to play God? After all, he has got the voice down pat. In the film, Morgan Freeman takes on the role of the almighty in order to teach Bruce (Jim Carrey), a TV reporter who is always complaining about God, a lesson. He lets Bruce take on the reins of playing God so that he can see first-hand how difficult it is. No one better than Bachchan to play the 'fatherly' figure.

Robert De Niro - Meet the Parents

In the film, De Niro plays a retired CIA official whose daughter has brought her boyfriend over for the weekend. He portrays the protective father to the tee by doing background checks on the boyfriend and even making him take a polygraph test. Bachchan would be able to essay this comic role playing the intimidating father with ease and also being the observant former CIA agent.

Michael Douglas - Last Vegas

The film that starred stalwarts like Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas and Kevin Kline, showed four aged best friends who go to Vegas for Michael's bachelor party. Bachchan could easily pull off the suave role of a man who's out to enjoy his last vacation as a bachelor. If there’s one actor who can prove age is no barrier to living life king size it's Big B.

Pierce Brosnan- The Thomas Crown Affair

In this flick, Pierce essays a charming art thief who is being investigated by an attractive woman who he also starts a romance with. Bachchan can play the suave, sophisticated art connoisseur, just put him in a well-tailored suit. As for the chemistry with the leading lady, that's a done deal.

Jack Nicholson - Something's Gotta Give

Jack plays an aged playboy who's known to date women half his age. But when he has a medical scare, he starts to develop feelings for his young girlfriend's mother. The comedy subtly shows the loneliness faced by those in their 60s as well as the challenges of dating at that age and Big B could easily pull off Jack's character. He has the right mix of charm and wit.
