Half Girlfriend in real life? Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor talk about their own 'unfinished' love stories!

Everyone has been through heartbreak, at least once in life. And there are some love stories which despite the break, aren't really lost. That's the idea on which Mohit Suri's Half Girlfriend is based. 

Starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in leading roles, the film team launched the first theatrical promo on Monday. The two actors were present at the grand trailer launch event and when someone asked them about their idea of Half Girlfriend and if they have been through similar situations in personal life, they readily answered. 

Arjun gushed, "There have been times when we all must have thought, 'Ki shayad kuch der pehle bol diya hota'. It happened with me as well. So I kind of liked this girl but like every other decent Indian guy, I decided to wait for the right time. And then eventually, we went out one day and I thought ki aaj main bol dunga. When I reached there, I saw her coming with another guy. I thought it must be her brother but she came and introduced him to be and said, 'Hey meet my boyfriend. He just asked me out today'. I felt horrible that time and thought ki if I had asked her out 4 hours before that, I would have been in his place. We didn't really talk after that but we later reconnected through mutual friends and today, she is happily married in England so we are friends."

On the other hand, Shraddha didn't really have such an interesting story to tell. She just agreed that in life, even she's gone through a heartbreak and she also has faced such situations in life.
