'Haider' is Tabu's best performance; Shraddha Kapoor is ethereal: Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan, who plays Tabu's dead husband in Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider, says it is the best performance of the star's career. The Maachis actress would be seen playing the role of a mother in the modern adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy Hamlet.

Irrfan tweeted:

Irrfan also heaped praise on Bhardwaj for adapting the script beautifully.

Bhardwaj had earlier adpated Shakespeare's Macbeth (Maqbool) and Othello (Omkara). Haider also stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon. It is hitting thatres on October 2.
