The quick-shooting Richa Chadda on men, love and relationships
  • richa-chadda

Richa Chadda is the cover girl for the special issue (Sex and Relationship) of Maxim India. She is the most unlikely choice for this edition, given that she is known more for her earthy, rural appeal. But she is obviously trying to go out-of-the-box and introduce a different side to the world. And that is a good thing. Her new avatar has wowed us as much as her performances in 'Gangs of Wasseypur', 'Fukrey' and 'Ram-Leela'. Since she has pushed the envelope, we decided to do the same in terms of the questions. She was game. And is bright and quick with repartee. Here she opens up on her hotness quotient, sexiness and relationships...

Been on a date?

Yes, but I don't have a boyfriend.

Your idea of a romantic date?

A nice, long walk in the hills and then a light meal on the hilltop with my partner with some nice wine.

Do guys ask you out?

Yes, all the time.

Do you like being in control in a relationship?

Not really. It should be a balance.

Would you cheat on your boyfriend?

No. It's dumb and stressful.

What do you look for in a guy?

Stability, evolution and a sense of humour.

The most attractive or sexy thing about you and why?

I think my eyes because I let it do the talking. Most people find my eyes very attractive and I have got a lot of compliments for it.

Your idea of romantic gift?

Well, I got my most romantic gift this time on my birthday. It was a painting from man I admire and like a lot. It's a mutual admiration society. He had taken it on instagram and posted it to show me and also had couriered the painting to me from abroad. It's a picture of me in black and white with red lips painted on a huge canvas. It's very special to me and though I shifted home recently, I always keep it with me. When somebody puts in an effort rather than buying from a shop that's what's romantic for me.

Are you a member of the mile-high club?

What's that?

What do you like in a guy?

Honesty, compassion and a nice smile.

Ever been dumped?

Hah! No.

How do you normally deal with rejections?

By dwelling, sulking and then getting over it quickly.

Do you believe in one-night stands?

No. And I am not a prude. They are just dull.

You are at a party where they suddenly play Seven Minutes In Heaven (a party game where two people are selected to go into a dark, enclosed space and do whatever they like for seven minutes - kiss, talk, engage in some other activity, or do nothing at all.) What is your reaction?

I would step out for a stroll.

What would you wear on a hot date?

A nice fitted bodycon dress as it would show off my feminine curves and yet it is modern as it's structured. And it would be white. Most women like red or black evening dresses but white looks good on me.

When you walk into a room...

I smile broadly!

When you get my picture taken by surprise you react by…

Looking grumpy.

Your childhood superhero/heroine was...

Catwoman. I am a cat person. I identify a lot with cats and I have a pet cat. My body language is very feline. I loved Halle Berry in Catwoman

When you attend a party where you hardly know anyone, you…

I laugh loudly and shake hands with everyone

When you're in front of a large public audience, you tend to feel…

Super confident and happy.

Success at work and personal life depends on…

What you say to yourself.

How would you describe your body shape?

Curvy athletic.

What does hot and sexy mean to you?

Confident and talented.

Would you do a nude scene for a film?

Have you been answered all the above questions truthfully?

Well, you wouldn't believe me whether I say yes or no either way.
