Alia Bhatt, who debuted with Karan Johar's 'Student Of The Year' in a glamorous role as Shanaya will be seen in a rustic avatar in Imtiaz Ali's 'Highway'. Talking about the film, Alia summarised the experience as challenging and worthwhile.

She said, " In terms of contrast with SOTY, I did not have to wear heels or make-up, but the character was well layered and challenging".

Talking about her competition with Parineeti Chopra, the Bhatt girl clarified her stance. She said that there was no competition whatsoever and she had even seen Parineeti's latest flick 'Hasee toh Phasee' and loved it.

Meanwhile, Randeep Hooda, when questioned about Valentine's Day called it an 'useless day', while Alia retorted saying, "I don't believe in Valentine's Day at all".

Randeep even advised the audience not to waste time and money on this day.

Imtiaz Ali's next is with Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor tentatively titled 'Window-Seat' as per reports.

In this regard, Imtiaz said, "Right now, I am focusing on Highway and how the audience reacts to it. We have put in a lot of efforts in dangerous locales shooting for this movie".

When asked about which movie they would like to watch besides Highway, all three of them said, Gunday in unison. While Alia was gushing about the promos, Randeep called it the modern day Sholay. Quite a comparison!
