Grandmum Neelima Azim reveals Shahid Kapoor is taking excellent care of baby daughter

Shahid Kapoor's mother Neelima Azim's happinees knows no bounds as she became a grandmother on August 26 as Shahid and wife Mira Rajput embraced parenthood after welcoming their newly born daughter.

Shahid tweeted and announced the joyful news on Twitter saying, "She has arrived and words fall short to express our happiness. Thank you for all your wishes.” 

As per the Hindustan Times, an elated grandmum Neelima says, "This baby is my firstborn’s firstborn and the first grandchild in the family. I wanted a granddaughter. I am on top of the world,” adding that they would have been happy to have either a boy or a girl but since she has two sons, she wanted it to be a girl.

Neelima was all praises for the way son Shahid has been taking care of the Mira and their daughter."While some men might shy away or hesitate to hold babies, he is very good. He is like a pro, a veteran. He has been taking care of his Mira very well. He makes a great husband and a wonderful dad,” she added.

On the other hand, Shahid's younger brother Ishaan is equally thrilled to be an uncle. Neelima said that till now Ishaan has been the youngest in the family and now there is a younger person for him to take care of.
