The makers of Priyanka Chopra-Harman Baweja starrer What's Your Rashee? have found an innovative way to reach out to viewers. It is now on 'Facebook' as a mordern application enabling users to check their zodiac sign compatibility and also make friends accordingly.

"In the film, Priyanka plays 12 characters, between 18-25, which is also the average age group of Facebook users. Thereby Facebook served as an ideal platform for us to connect with the youth," film producer Sunita A Gowariker, said.

In a first of its kind association, a specialised application has been developed for users on Facebook to check their compatibility with their partners and also make new friends based on their very own 'raashee' (sun sign) and their compatibility with other users.

The application requires the user to answer questions about their personal preferences and then based on the common characteristics with other signs, they will be shown a list of users whom they are compatible with while offering them an opportunity to add those people as friends in Facebook.

"The entire idea ties in well with the theme of the film and yet is not restricted to being only about the film," she said.

"This particular application gave us a chance to do something interactive by not only letting users test their compatibility with their partners, but also by giving them a chance to meet people they may not know on Facebook, with whom they are compatible," Sunita said.

Whats Your Raashee? is director Ashutosh Gowariker's first romantic comedy and is based on Madhu Rye's Gujarati novel Kimball Ravenswood.

The film is presented by UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions and is jointly produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Sunita A Gowariker.

Other credits include lyrics by Javed Akhtar, music by Sohail Sen, screenplay by Naushil Mehta and Ashutosh Gowariker, dialogues by Naushil Mehta, costume design by Neeta Lulla, art direction by Nitin Desai and cinematography by Piyush Shah. The film is slated for September 25 release.
