Govinda delays TV shoot by five hours!

In his hey days, when he was the Hero No.1, Govinda was known to land up late on the sets for his shoot. Insiders joked that he would arrive at pm for an am shoot but looks like nothing has changed as far as his timings are concerned. Recently, he went on the sets of The Voice India 2 to promote his upcoming film Aa Gaya Hero. A source says that he arrived five hours late as a result of which some of the acts that were planned with the actor had to be scrapped. “He was to arrive at 11 am but the night before the shoot, he delayed his call time to 1pm. Understanding the artist’s erratic schedule, the makers complied.Unfortunately, on the shoot day of the shoot, Govinda did not turn up even till 1pm and hence, the makers of the show shot half the episode without him. We had finished performances of Team Benny post which we took a lunch break expecting him to reach the sets soon, but even that did not work in our favour as he did not come. We had to start shooting the other performances also without him. He ended up missing more than half the performances,” the source adds.
