Glee creators have confirmed that they will be dedicating a Tribute Episode to the tragic star Cory Monteith and kill off his on-screen avatar Finn Hudson, in the show. Creator and executive producer of the hit show, Ryan Murphy, told Deadline that they will begin shooting the two episodes in late August, so that people can physically go back to work.
Murphy said that his team would then do an episode that will deal with the death of Finn’s character and follow that with a long hiatus. He insisted that his team was not sure if they should shut down the show or come back in December and January. Murphy added that all the options were considered, and decided to do what the cast and crew felt best.
