Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin is a fan of Jonathan Nolan's drama Westworld and would not mind a crossover between the two shows.

Starring Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton, the HBO show is set in a futuristic Wild West theme park, populated by lifelike robots.

High paying humans can visit the park to indulge their darkest fantasies without any fear for retribution.

Martin brought up the idea of a crossover between his show with Westworld showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy over dinner a few months ago, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Show creator Jonathan Nolan loved the idea.

"We love George... He's a lovely guy and a stunning writer and it's flattering he would encourage a crossover. We should be so lucky," Nolan said.

But showrunner Lisa Joy, who is also married to Nolan, however, is not that excited about the idea. "I need to believe that dragons are real. I want them to be a real thing. So as much as I love George, I can't lose that for myself!"

Jonathan Nolan teased, “We’ve got an awful lot of material to cover just with Westworld, but you want to stay tuned…”.

Even if the crossover doesn’t seem like a possibility on television in the near future, Westworld’s companion website ‘Discover Westworld’ has already prepared itself for another kind of crossover on the internet. The website that is set up to look like a booking website for Westworld allows fans of Westworld to book a mock visit (but at $40,000, mind you) and when one asks Aeden (the website’s Siri equivalent) “What do you think about Game of Thrones?”, it says:

Westworld and Game of Thrones air in India on Star World Premiere HD.
