George Clooney reveals he was on his knees for 28 minutes to propose to Amal Clooney

George Clooney has admitted that when he proposed to his wife Amal Clooney, he literally dropped on her as he was tired.

The Monuments Men actor said in an interview when he proposed to his 37-year-old wife that he was 53 at that time and was on his knees for 28 minutes, so the lady needed to answer the question soon otherwise he would not be able to stand back up, Us Magazine reported.

The 54-year-old Hollywood actor added that his proposal was a complete surprise as his Human Rights lawyer who had no clue that the actor was going to pop the question. Amal obviously didn't delay to answer the biggest question of her life and said yes to George.
