Ganeshotsav: Manaayata will bring an idol home for the festival

Sanjay Dutt's wife, Manaayata will be bringing Ganpati home for the first time since her marriage. She will keep the idol for a day-and-half and then do the visarjan tomorrow.

Says a close to Manaayata, "Sanjay's sis Priya Dutt Roncon brings Ganpati home every year and hosts a family celebration, something his children Shahran and Iqra excitedly look forward to it. That's why Mana decided to celebrate Ganeshotsav at their own residence this year for her kids. Since Sanju is away in jail, the festive atmosphere will lighten the gloomy mood at home."

What preparations have been made? "The children are helping plan everything, to picking out the idol to the decorations. But they will also visit Priya's home and do the puja together. Mana has bought a specially-designed pink-and-gold kasta sari (a nine-yard sari, where the sari tucked at the back) for the festival. It's going to be an intimate celebration only with close friends and family."
