The eighth episode of Game of Thrones season 6 is going to lay ground for a lot of drama (and bloodshed) as the end of this season draws near.

The last episode's cliffhanger regarding Arya spawned  several theories which include Arya being The Waif (a la Fight Club), Jaqen H'ghar being The Waif, Lady Crane is with the Faceless Men and that Syro Forel lives. The last one is a fan favourite. Check out that silhouette behind The Waif.

Brienne will finally make it to Riverrun where she'll meet Jaime again (yay!).

The two will, however, find themselves on opposite sides of an impending battle here (boo!).

The time is opportune for Lady Stoneheart to make an appearance if she plans on it. Note that the trailer shows Pod being either attacked or kidnapped. All this, along with the re-emergence of the Brotherhood without Banners, is fertile ground for Stoneheart's introduction and a possible massacre.

In Mereen, check out Tyrion's new clothes, his perturbed expression and a new red priestess. What is this mushrooming number of red priestesses leading to?

Also, hi Missandei!

King's Landing is probably going to face the dire consequences of Cersei choosing violence. First on that list will probably be cousin Lancel whose job since joining the Faith Militant has been to simply look menacing.

Unfortunately, his forehead tattoo looks more menacing than him.

Now, check out the Mountain's armour with an imprint of Lancel's weapon and no Lancel in sight.

Next up, Uncle Kevan and Pycelle?

We're very close to Cersei's trial. Fans have been gunning for Cleganebowl, a face-off between the Clegane brothers, for a while now. The Hound's return in the last episode only added to the ongoing speculation. Is it possible that Sandor will make his way to the capital and become the High Sparrow's champion? We'll know where his arc is headed in this episode. In the teaser, you can see him take a swing at someone.

If this is, as rumoured, Lena Headey's last season then she's probably getting a big send-off. Even if it's not, her character is due a big dramatic moment, having had a subdued arc most of this season.

Think wildfire. Cersei had it made before the Battle of Blackwater in anticipation of Stannis' attack. Bran's visions showed us the moment where Aerys' instructed Jaime to "burn them all".

Sounds like the Cersei way to go.
