Bollywood has witnessed a decent start to the year with some films hitting the bulls-eye while many have failed. While women-centric films received rave reviews and box-office response, it was newcomers who set the cash register ringing and taking the competition a step higher.

#Revolver Rani
Kangana Ranaut is on a roll post the success of her film Queen. The actress, who played the shy and goofy Rani in Queen, is ready to blow you away with her bindaas and whacky avataar in her next Revolver Rani.
#Ek Villain
Ek Villain is an action romance film directed by Mohit Suri. It features Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Shraddha Kapoor and Amrita Puri in lead roles with Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) as the antagonist. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Motion Pictures. The film is slated to release on June 27, 2014.

#Heropanti
Heropanti starring Jackie Shroff's son Tiger will hit the theaters soon. At a music launch, the special guests weren't any of the A-list actors of B-Town. The song that has the tune from Jackie Shroff's debut film Hero, was launched in the presence of flute sellers from the city. Jackie's son Tiger Shroff, who makes his debut with the movie said that they decided to invite the flute sellers as they are the ones who have kept the tune alive.
#Yeh Hain Bakrapur
The movie ‘Yeh Hai Bakrapur’ revolves around the Qureshi family and their pet goat Shahrukh. It is about how the goat acquires celebrity status in the village.
It is written and directed by Janaki Vishwanathan the film is slated for release on 9th May.
#The Xpose
Yo Yo Honey Singh, Himesh Reshammiya and Irrfan Khan come together onscreen in the murder mystery film, The Xpose. It is shot in locations across the world, is directed by Anant Mahadevan and will release on May 23.
#Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi Trailer
Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi, is a comedy flick starring newcomer Siddharth Gupta and ex-miss India Simran Kaur Mundi. It is all set in a North Indian city and the story revolves around a boy-next door who proves to be a loser in every aspect of life and is produced by Ekta Kapoor.
#Holiday
Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha are back with a trailor of their new film 'Holiday: A Soldier Never Off Duty'. the film is an action thriller written and directed by AR Murugadoss. It features Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles, along with Govinda in a small supporting role. The film was produced by Vipul Shah and is a remake of a 2012 Tamil Blockbuster Movie 'Thuppakki' starring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles. The film is scheduled to be release on June 6, 2014.

The epic drama film starring Rajnikanth and Deepika Padukone is confirmed to hit screens on 9 May across the globe.
Mediaone Global Entertainment, the co-producer of "Kochadaiiyaan", announced the film's release date on their twitter handle.

#Hawa Hawaai
The movie is all set to release on May 9, 2014 and will be presented by Fox Star Studios and is written, produced and directed by Amol Gupte. It stars Saqib Saleem and Partho Gupto.

#Purani Jeans
The film starsTanuj Virwani, Aditya Seal and Izabelle Leite and is a bittersweet tale unraveling life through the eyes of youth. It is directed by young award-winning ad film-maker Tanushri Chattrji Bassu.
Purani Jeans, produced by Eros International and NextGen Films, releases May 1.
