'We bonded on sports!' Angad Bedi on partying with Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan threw a wrap-up party for Pink which was attended by Angad Bedi amongst others. Bachchan will be seen playing a lawyer in the film while Angad plays Haryanvi Rajvir Singh who crosses paths with the Big B. Angad says, "It was a great experience to be in his house. He is an exceptional host. The whole family was there – Abhishek, Aishwarya and Shweta.

They were so welcoming and warm. Mr. Bachchan, Abhishek and I were watching cricket and switching between football at times. It's really heartening to see how he knows every single player - who are the overseas player. We bonded on sports ! We were talking about my father and how he used to play for India.

Overall, the experience was overwhelming and warm. The family is just like you and I. Aishwarya was a perfect hostess as she looked after us. Everything was home cooked. Shweta wanted to know where I was based in Delhi where I studied and graduated and what made me switch from cricket to films. I replied it was Amitabh Bachchan that made me switch."

Post dinner Big B took everyone on a tour of Pratiksha. "We saw the room of Mr. Harivanshrai Bachchan, where the pen he used to write was kept - his notepad and spectacles. Something that we both share in common is that we both are ambidextrous (the ability to use the right and left hands equally well) and we both share the same initials AB.

I'm truly truly blessed to be associated with a family like his. It was great to hear his experience where he came from who all he worked with, how did he see the film industry change from then to now!"
