They’re telling us where they eat, what they like to cook, how they style themselves, their favoured cosmetic brands, how to entertain, dishing relationship advice and much more. They’re also giving fans a chance to purchase a variety of products curated by them. After Hrs takes a look at some celebs with popular blogs.

Probably the first to put her name to a lifestyle website, the actress said, "I started Goop to answer my own questions about health, wellness, fashion, food, and travel. I was looking for a trusted source to point me in the right direction and I couldn’t find one, so I created it." Her site that has weekly email updates offers healthy recipes, restaurant suggestions, beauty and wellness tips as well as relationship advice. It was also the platform she chose to reveal her “conscious uncoupling” from hubby Chris Martin.

Blake Lively, Preserve
Blake turned blogger last July with her site which is an ode to stories and creations of artisans. One can learn to make blueberry body scrub, superfood salad or simply how to dress for a beach vacation. Reese Witherspoon, Draper James
One of the most recent to join the lifestyle bandwagon, Reese's site offers a glimpse into her "Southern belle" heritage. Named after her grandparents, one can purchase from a limited variety of apparel, jewellery, stationery and other gifting items that pays tribute to her Nashville upbringing. A note on her site reads, "With Draper James, our goal is to bring contemporary, yet timeless Southern style to your wardrobe and your home, no matter where you live."

Something that the actress tries to do daily with her vegan lifestyle. She gives suggestions on eco-friendly living, healthy eating, raising children, and of course being a kinder better person.

Shay Mitchell, AmoreAndVita
The Pretty Little Liars star began her blog with best friend Michaela Blaney naming it Amore & Vita – love and life in Italian. They say, "The yin and yang for love and life is an exact reflection of both of us. Shay’s love: for fashion and beauty, the idea of wanderlust-ing all over the world. B-Town beauties speak

I think in many ways, the things I do on social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. are in a sense almost like a blog. I have some ideas in this direction, but it’s too early to talk about it. I have loads on my plate right now and that’s my current focus. In terms of content in the blog, and what I would like to write on...wouldn’t you like to know! I’m not giving away my secrets just yet, but you can get some hints from all the things that I post.

Jacqueline Fernandez
Yes, most likely I will start to write a blog. I have enough content. I'm like an encyclopaedia on lifestyle related stuff and I think it's a very positive thing to do for your fans. Personally I like to share health, beauty and fitness tips so I would most probably use the platform for that. Currently I use Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter to connect with my fans.

Bipasha Basu
I am contemplating writing a blog soon. I can't really get into the details now. It will be about whatever is close to my heart and maybe topical issues. Social media is a boon. Not only do fans get a peek into the lives of their role models but these platforms can be used to drive your passion too. It's a lot of give and take of information about the entire world and all its facets. The Trunk label accessories site is very important to me. I am a curator and partner in the venture so I do give lots of creative inputs. It's fun to do!

Malaika Arora Khan
Earlier I wasn't sure if I wanted to write a blog. In fact, I would keep asking my sister Amrita to write one as she's very good with all this - from research to writing. But so many fans keep asking me for tips on skin, hair or fashion that I have been contemplating writing a fashion, fitness or beauty blog now. I currently write a fashion blog for my site The Closet Label but that's more to do with every collection that comes out. If I do blog, it would be more personalised. Like I use my grandmother's homemade beauty remedies which many people find useful. I also post fitness videos on my social networking websites so I could do that for my blogs too. So many people keep asking me to write a lifestyle blog that now I'm seriously considering it.
