Freida takes a break from promotions to be with beau, actor Dev for just a few hours.
For the first time, actor Freida Pinto will be taking a break in between her film promotions in New York and will be travelling all the way to San Francisco just to spend a few hours with her boyfriend, actor Dev Patel.
Freida, it is learnt, has taken one day off from the promotions of Immortals because Dev’s big day is here — he is preparing to make his international TV debut in screenplay writer Aaron Sorkin’s series titled More As the Story Develops which is a show that follows a group of people working in a broadcast newsroom. Aaron is the same writer who wrote The Social Network. Doesn’t matter if it is a career changing move for him, Dev has also taken a day off because he wants to be with Freida. “Freida knows that it’s just a matter of few hours, but those few hours are very important for both of them. Dev needs Freida by his side because it is a big thing for him,” says a source.
Freida, it is learnt, will be there to help Dev with his prepping sessions before coming back and joining her film crew again for the promotions. “It was Dev who supported Freida when the couple ventured out on the red carpet together at the screening of her new film Black Gold at the Doha Tribeca Film Festival on October 26,” the source adds, indicating that Freida is certainly reciprocating the love.
The Slumdog Millionaire actor will play an employee at the network in his debut TV fiction show series which also stars Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer, Olivia Munn and Alison Pill.
“Dev has also taken a day off to be with Freida. He has taken a day off from the prepping sessions with the rest of the cast. The couple will be able to spend a few hours together before both of them join their respective casts,” the source ends. Looks like a couple very much in love.
