Flashback: When Kareena Kapoor OPENLY spoke about her relationship with Shahid Kapoor!

Shahid Kapoor turned 36 today. While the actor is now happily married with a kid and busy celebrating his birthday in Amritsar with his entire family, we came across an old interview of Kareena Kapoor. 

This was from the time when Kareena was not a Khan yet and she was madly in love with Shahid. We are talking about 2004 when their roaring affair grabbed headlines and made it to all gossip columns. Back then, both of them were very open about their relationship.

Unlike now, when there's so much being written about and so much of it being hidden, back then, most actors were comfortable baring their private life to the media. During this interaction with Cosmopolitan magazine, Bebo opened up about her then beau Sasha.

She didn't think twice before saying that she's done 'nothing' for Shahid. "Our relationship is not like that, it's too early. It's too soon for the romance part to start. At the rate we're both shooting, there is no time to look deeply into each other's eyes and be lovestruck. We are more like friends (giggles) okay, a little more than friends..."

But when she was asked about how the two spend their time together, she said, "We do the stuff any other young couple does, eating out, watching movies...I really enjoy watching movies. When we get a chance, we go to Fame Ad Labs to see films, We sneak in when it's dark, after the movie has started. It's lovely. It's so relaxing. That's what I enjoy most about being with Shahid. I get to be normal and do normal things."
