First trailer of Shruti Hassan-Girish Kumar 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' out

After storming the box office with super hit films like Wanted and Rowdy Rathore, choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva is back with Ramaiya Vastavaiya, a drama with loads of action and romance.

Releasing the official trailer of the film on Twitter, Prabhu Deva wrote:

The film is the Hindi remake of Prabhu Deva’s debut Telugu film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005), which was a blockbuster. The film will mark the debut of Girish Taurani, son of Tips owner and producer Kumar S Taurani.

Girish has been paired opposite the lovely Shruti Hassan. The romantic drama has a feel of the 80s and 90s where a rich boy falls in love with a poor girl. The film is set in the countryside.

While the trailer doesn't give away much about Girish's acting skills, Shruti's a sight for sore eyes.

Ramaiya Vastavaiya, which will hit the theaters on June 7, will also see veterans like Poonam Dhillon, Vinod Khanna and Randhir Kapoor. Catch the official theatrical trailer of the film and tell us what you think.
