First look of 'Dhoom 3' song 'Malang': Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan in Bollywood's most expensive track

With the release of Dhoom 3 approaching, the hype around the film is also growing by leaps and bounds.

While the Dhoom franchise is known for its kick-ass action sequences, the third sequel also boasts of featuring the costliest song ever.  

The makers of Dhoom 3 have unveiled the first look of the film's latest song Malang, which they claim is the most expensive song made till date.

The song, which is said to be, an energetic number, has been shot on a budget of Rs5 crore.

According to media reports, the song features 200 professional gymnasts specially flown in from the US.

The expenses include the fees of the gymnasts, their costumes and the elaborate sets.

Reports quoted a source as saying, "The 200 artistes stayed in the city for 20 days as they were training and the humongous set took nearly two months to be created."

The huge set of the song took two months to be created and the costumes used by the dancers were also quite elaborate. The track was shot at Reliance Studios.

The track, featuring Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif, is yet to be released on the internet. The song is themed around the life of acrobats and gymnasts who work in the circus.

The lyrics of the song have been written by Sameer Anjaan, and the music is composed by Pritam.

The recently-released title track Dhoom Machale has been a huge hit with the masses, and the makers expect a similar response to the latest track too.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Dhoom 3 also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.

The film will hit the theatres on December 20, 2013.
