Charlie Sheen, who was recently embroiled in scandal for allegedly hiding his HIV status, thinks his memoir is worth $10 million.

According to News24, the 50-year-old actor has reportedly been flaunting the idea of a tell-all book to several publishers, but some have baulked at the huge sum, with one insisting that because much of his life is lived in the public eye there cannot be a lot people don't know.

A major publishing house veteran, who didn't wish to be named in case his company took on the book, said that when Sheen starred in Two and a Half Men, it was a funny comedy, but the idea of $10 million is even funnier as so much of his life has played out in public and so much is sordid. "What's left to find out?" The Anger Management actor may not have to wait much for a book deal as publisher Judith Regan has expressed an interest, saying: "I would like to publish his autobiography as an epic poem."

It was reported recently that Sheen's manager Mark Burg has been "buried with offers" from publishers who are desperate for his colourful life story. The actor, who revealed in November that he was diagnosed with HIV four years ago, now, hopes going public with his diagnosis will help reduce the stigma surrounding the disease.
