Finally! Sridevi speaks about being offered Baahubali!

So what if Sridevi wasn't a part of the magnum opus, her name is always mentioned with Baahubali franchise. And in midst of promoting her 300th film, Mom, the actress had to explain her side of the story. In an interview to a southern channel, the lady said she is upset with SS Rajamouli's interview claiming that Sridevi who was initially offered the role of Sivagami, had to be replaced because of her starry tantrums. Sridevi denied the reports and said, "I was shocked and hurt by this interview, SS Rajamouli is a calm and dignified person." Mom star hasn't interacted with the filmmaker in the past and believes that he said all this under the influence of his crew members.

Sridevi also believes that she wouldn't have lasted in the industry for so many years if she would have been throwing tantrums. " People would have send me packing if I was like that. I don't know if the producer wrongly told Rajamouli, that I made all these demands.But it is not in a good taste to speak like this." She even went to say that her husband, Boney Kapoor is a producer and she knows the problem of a producer.

There were claims that Sridevi demanded for entire floor of an hotel booked and 10 flight tickets, etc. Rajamouli had said in an interview, " We are lucky that Sridevi rejected the role."

Well, now that Ramya Krishnan created history in the role of Sivagami, Sridevi is hoping that attention now shifts to her film, Mom.
