TV comedy show Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza, hosted by Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh has been grabbing the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. Firstly, a major chunk of the A listers of Bollywood ignored the show for the promotions of their films owing to its roast format.

This was followed by Parched actress Tannishtha Chaterjee's walk out from the show as she felt she was being targeted for her skin colour. Now, more recently, it was John Abraham who stormed out of CNBT after jokes about his previous films.

After gathering much criticism and flak for its format, the makers of the show have decided to do away with the roast comedy format. In a recent interview with a daily, the host Krushna was quoted saying, "While several celebrities have appreciated the content, a few of them felt offended. We don’t want to irk people further and have decided to tone down the content. I don’t wish to put my relationships at stake for the sake of comedy . We will indulge only in healthy leg pulling. My co-actors are also in favour of this decision.“

Word is also doing the rounds that this decision has come in the wake of the upcoming guest list. Reportedly, veteran actress Helen and Bindu are all set to appear on the show and Krushna doesn't want to repeat any mistakes. He said, "We can’t dare roast them. So, we will be indulging in light comedy with them as well as the cast of Wajah Tum Ho with whom we are shooting next."

Well, looks like the host and the makers have finally learnt a lesson after the John Abraham episode. Krushna had even issued a statement earlier, saying that he was really sad when he upset John as both of them have known each other for many years and John was the only Bollywood actor to have called him after his father's demise.
