Filming for Steve Jobs, a biopic penned by Aaron Sorkin has official started at his childhood home garage in Los Altos, where Jobs and Steve Wozniak built the first Apple computer in 1976.

The movie covers three major product introductions that shaped Jobs' life and the company he founded, lost, returned to and changed into one of the most powerful and valuable consumer electronics companies in the world, the Verge reported.

This latest film has suffered a number of setbacks, including changing hands from Sony Pictures to Universal, as well as reported difficulties finding someone to play Jobs. That spot was ultimately filled by Michael Fassbender, with Slumdog Millionaire's Danny Boyle as the director.
