Let the celebrations begin! 2015 is a big year for some of the biggest actors in Bollywood as they mark their milestone birthday. It’s hard to believe that Aamir Khan turned 50 in March this year, proving that some people are simply ageless. Shah Rukh Khan rings in his 50th onNovember 2, while Salman Khan has his big day on December 27. Though 20-something newbies flood the industry, age notwithstanding these men are continuing to rule the box office and the hearts of millions. After Hrs looks at some Hollywood stars who are also 50.
 
Charlie Sheen
Charlie, who turns 50 in September, has managed to stay in the news for all of the wrong reasons. The Two And A Half Men star made headlines for his substance abuse and alcohol problems and charges of domestic violence. He recently had a scathing Twitter spat with ex wife Denise Richards. Work has been slow though with just an appearance on The Goldbergs. 
 
Robert Downey Jr
It’s hard to believe that RDJ has completed half a century. The Avengers: Age of Ultron star brought in his 50th with a big bash held at an airport hangar with a number of stars in attendance. He later posted on Facebook, “Dear Mother Nature, Thank you for 50 years of loving tolerance...” Word is the star isn’t ready to hang up his superhero boots yet and will be a part of Iron Man 4.
 
Chris Rock
The Everybody Hates Chris creator celebrated his milestone birthday in February. Aside from a guest appearance in Empire, Chris is also working on a follow-up film to Top Five, that received good reviews. The comedian is currently in the midst of a divorce after splitting from his wife Malaak Compton-Rock, who’s demanding a significant part of his vast fortune.
 
Ben Stiller
Known for his slapstick style comedies, Ben who has acted in and produced many films turns 50 this November. Despite the years, Ben has no plans to slow down and already has Zoolander 2 and The Hardy Men coming up. He also made a surprise appearance at Valentino’s Paris Fashion Week show to promote his film.
 
Jon Cryer
Just like his Two And A Half Men co-star Charlie, Jon (best known for his role of Alan Harper), brought in the big 50 in April. Now that the show is off air, the actor is looking at other television projects and also worked on the narration for a NASA documentary.
 
Kevin James
The actor completed 50 in April this year and though his films Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 and Pixels failed at the box office, Kevin still has hope for Hotel Transylvania 2. On the personal front though the year has been good as his wife gave birth to their fourth child — a daughter Sistine Sabella.
 
Martin Lawrence
The Big Momma’s House actor who turned 50 few months back has been keeping himself busy with a variety of projects. He launched a mobile app Martinized with some exclusive pictures, videos and trivia about himself. He’s also made his stand-up comedy comeback recently with shows across the US. About turning a year older he said, “It helped me to reflect back on how far I’ve come. I said to myself, ‘I’m 50 years. It’s a landmark year.’ I looked and saw the things I accomplished over my life.”
 
Sam Mendes
Sam who just turned 50 plans to continue with his direction work. His upcoming movie Spectre, which is due to release in November is said to his last Bond film. He also wants to return to theatre work. “It feels like home, it feels controllable after the chaos of a movie set. But it won’t be long before I want to do another film, and I’m very, very fortunate to be able to go back and forth between the two,” he said in an interview.
