Actress Felicity Jones has revealed she "nearly killed" her Inferno co-star Tom Hanks on the film's set when she accidentally bashed the car, they were both in, against a wall.

The 33-year-old star said she was driving her co-star around on set when she knocked the four-wheelers into a wall whilst turning a corner, reported Femalefirst.

"The Italian streets are really tiny, and for some reason, my character had the most enormous car they could find.

"So, just as I was very kind of coolly trying to turn this corner, I was staying in line as I was turning it, I basically bashed the entire side of the car with Tom in... Into the side of the wall," she said.

The actress said she was too scared as she thought Hanks would be angry on her.

"It was almost game over, but luckily he was very cool about the incident and he didn't say anything," she said.
