Farooque Sheikh's Kashmiri treat

That veteran actor Farooque Sheikh seen in Do Dil Ek Jaan is a big foodie is no secret! So much so that his co-star of several films, Deepti Naval had in an earlier interview revealed that Farooque made it a point to sample the delicacies available at all the places they would shoot. Now, the cast and crew of the TV show are witnessing the actor’s love for food. A source says that he treated them to Kashmiri cuisine on the last day of their shooting schedule in the beautiful valley.

Confirms Ayaz Ahmed who plays Raghu in the serial, “He took all of us out for dinner on our last day in Kashmir. Wazwan is a very popular Kashmiri meal normally broken down in to 36 courses. We had the best Wazwan, thanks to him. It’s also a great learning experience working with him.”

Incidentally, Farooque’s character got killed in the serial recently. Looks like the award-winning actor is specialising in cameos. He was recently seen in a small but endearing role in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and now leaves his mark in Do Dil Ek Jaan.
