Remember Allison Tolman, the tough cop with a sweet smile from critically acclaimed TV show Fargo. Now Molly Solverson, which was the name of her character in Fargo has earned herself a new gig. But this time, it is a comedy show, far apart from the dark gritty set up in Fargo.

Allsion, winner of Critics' Choice Television Award for best supporting actor will feature in hit romcom Mindy's Project. But she will feature on only two episodes. Tolman will play a sweet romance novelist who goes on a disastrous blind date with fratty doc Peter Prentice (Adam Pally), leaving it up to Peter to make things right. Mindy's Project has wowed both the fans and critics alike with its funny take on the adventures of a single doctor Mindy Lahiri played by Indian- American actor Mindy Kaling.
