`Fantastic Four`s Ioan Gruffudd set to join `San Andreas` cast

Washington: Ioan Gruffudd, of the Fantastic Four fame, will be joining the star cast of the upcoming film 'San Andreas'.

The disaster action film, which has already confirmed Dwayne Johnson as a former Special Ops firefighter and Carla Gugino as his former wife, will see the 44-year-old actor play a wealthy real estate developer Daniel Reddick, who's engaged to Gugino, Deadline.com reported.

The Warner Bros and Village Roadshow financed production will be directed by Brad Peyton.

The film is anticipated to release in summer of 2015.
