The Harry Potter spinoff did well in China. Followed by Japan's Your Name aka Kimi No Wa that picked up $40.9 million.

JK Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them starring Eddie Redmayne topped the foreign box office this weekend, grossing a whopping $60.4 million.
The Harry Potter spin-off is on approximately 23,000 screens in 67 markets making a worldwide total stand at a sizable $607.9 million, reports Variety.com.
The movie did particularly well in China, grossing $15.5 million, and pushing its total in the Middle Kingdom to $72.5 million after two weeks. It also got a boost from Japan, where it made $6 million. Warner Bros., the studio behind the fantasy adventure, plans to make four sequels.
In second place, Japan's Your Name aka Kimi No Wa picked up $40.9 million thanks largely to a monster opening in China. The fantasy anime topped charts in the country while making $243.1 million worldwide.
Disney's Moana snagged third place, adding $32 million to its $177.4 million global haul. The animated film has already debuted in China, making $21.3 million in two weeks.
Underworld: Blood Wars and Allied rounded out the top five, making $16.3 million and $12.1 million respectively.
