Expect at least an hour of Shah Rukh Khan in Dear Zindagi: Gauri Shinde rubbishes speculations!

Gauri Shinde is one of the best filmmakers we have today. Her English Vinglish is an absolute favourite and her next - Dear Zindagi starring SRK and Alia will have a unique take on love and relationships as well.

While there have been numerous conjectures about SRK's role in the film, Gauri has finally spoken up on the issue. "Without SRK, the film is incomplete. It's Kaira and Jehangir's story. They are the two main principal characters in the film. The others are secondary characters. The film revolves around Shah Rukh and Alia."

There were also reports which suggested that SRK has a brief 30 minute role. Gauri rubbishes it off immediately. "Expect at least an hour of Shah Rukh in the film. That's like a minimum. The film primarily deals with Alia's character and it's very brave on SRK's part to have done this role but his role is pivotal to the plot. I don't understand why people are calling it a special cameo or a guest appearance."
