Exes Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty to come together for a business venture

We thought only exes in the young brigade like Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor can put their past behind and work together. But now, Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty Kundra are coming together for a business venture. Akshay Kumar is joining hands with Shila Shetty's husband, billionare businessman Raj Kundra for India's first celebrity teleshopping channel.

Akshay and Shilpa dated in the late 90s. But Shilpa Shetty called off their relationship when she came to know that Akshay was dating her friend Twinkle Khanna at the same time. Akshay and Twinkle married in 2001 and have two kids. In 2009, Shilpa married Raj Kundra and has a son with him. 

Though Shilpa and Akshay have made several special appearances in television earlier this is the first time they are coming together for a business deal. 

Report say that channel celebrities will be selling their own products on Best Deal TV channel. The products will be ranged somewhere between Rs 2000- Rs 6000. It is for the first time in Indian television that a celebrity teleshopping channel is being launched. 

According to Raj Kundra and Akshay Kumar, teleshopping is a $4 billion industry and they are eager to be a part of it.
