Exclusive: This will be Sanjay Dutt's first film after he's free from jail!

On Thursday, Sanjay Dutt will be a free man and while many directors have approached him, there’s been plenty of speculation as to whose film will roll first with Dutt. Dutt’s wife Maanayata has been in talks with them and buzz is that she has finalized two directors – Bang Bang director Siddharth Anand and Oh My God! Director Umesh Shukla. We have come across some exclusive news about which film Dutt will start first.

Says an insider from the film industry, “Sanjay Dutt’s first film, after his release from jail, will be directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Kriaj Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Essel Vision Productions. Shooting will start from July after look tests, workshops and pre-production work which is starting from March. Siddharth’s film will be a slick and stylish action-thriller. It’s been an almost neck-to-neck race with Umesh Shukla’s film which is being produced by Anurag Shrivastav and Rohit Chaudhury (Bahul)."

According to the source, "Sanjay is supposed to start Umesh's film after Siddharth's as he had loved Umesh’s concept, which was entertainment with a good message. Umesh will begin the project once he completes his next directorial 102 Not Out, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Paresh Rawal.”
