EXCLUSIVE: Sooraj Pancholi in Prabhu Dheva's next!

It’s been a year and a half since Hero and Sooraj Pancholi. We now learn that he has signed two films. One of them is Farook Kabir’s next (tentatively titled Hafiz) that goes on floors next month. The latest one is Prabhu Dheva’s next.

Our khabru also reveals, “Sooraj and Prabhu Dheva were in talks for some time. He has loved the script and has already signed on for Prabhu’s next, which is an action flick.

For Hafiz, the actor will zoom off to Morocco for a 60-day schedule. The film has him playing the role of a protector, hence the title. “But that’s just the working title. The makers might change the name later,” says a source.

The two films may be in the same genre, but one thing sets them apart. “Unlike other Prabhu films, it’s not a masala action comedy. The action here will be stylised and shot, Hollywood style. It’s not larger-than-life, unlike South movie remakes. It will definitely have a lot of song-and-dance.”

Prabhu’s film is scheduled to begin later this year after Sooraj wraps Farook’s next.
