Exclusive: Date and place of Shahid Kapoor's destination wedding with Mira Rajput revealed!

In the early months of the year, news of Shahid Kapoor preparing for his marriage to Delhi based Mira Rajput might have shattered a million hearts nationwide but ever since the news broke out, both the families went low-key. Everything was hush-hush until we found out details of their wedding. 

Shahid had only confirmed at a recent awards night saying, "News of my engagement is not true. But whatever you have been hearing is kind of true. I am getting married sometime towards the end of this year." But plans changed and the Kapoors and the Rajputs decided for an early wedding in June itself, putting Shahid's Farzi schedule haywire. 

Now, a source close to the family, informed Bollywoodlife, that the wedding is indeed happening on June 10 and both the families have picked Greece as their wedding destination. The wedding will be a small affair with only close friends and relatives being invited for the ceremony. The source also informed the website that the family had also put Istanbul as the other option but unanimously chose Greece as the perfect destination for Shahid-Mira's wedding. 

Shahid, who has been busy shooting for Udta Punjab has already asked the makers to speed up the process and finish the shoots as soon as possible. The actor wants to take out time and tie the knot before he starts any other film. His upcoming film, Shaandaar, coincidentally revolves around destination wedding. As of now, Sasha is busy wrapping up Udta Punjab and move to Greece to tie the knot with his ladylove Miss Rajput.
