Kareena Kapoor Khan reveals whether she wants a boy or a girl as her first child!
Stating that ever since she is expecting a baby, people ask her the same question, Kareena Kapoor today told us that she would like it to be a baby-girl.
She was speaking at the launch of Global Citizen India campaign which would have internationally acclaimed band Coldplay perform in Mumbai on November 19, 2016 for Global Citizens festival. The festival would be attended by World leaders from social, political spheres as well as entertainment industry.
The campaign was launched on Monday in presence of Chief Minister Deendra Fadnavis, Big B Amitanbh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar, grandson of Nelson Mandela Kweku Mandela, Huge Evans, Wizcraft director Sabbas Joseph, Lok Sabha MP Poonam Mahajan and Global Education and leadership Foundation Chairman Shiv Khemka.
Kareena told the audience that wherever she goes a question is asked whether it would be baby-boy or a baby-girl and she informed that she wants it to be a baby-girl. She said that gender equality is very important to her since she is a girl-child and often it is asked that after marriage would you continue to work and would you continue to work after having a child.
Amitabh Bachchan also underlined the need for gender equality and said that unless fifty percent population which is of women is not empowered society can not progress. Farhan Akhtar defined a man who recognizes importance of women for all her abilities.
Amitanbh Bachchan said that he was one of the 40 thousand persons who registered this morning for the Global Citizenship and wanted to know as to how he can chip in to collect social currency. The members would have to gather social currency by contributing towards society and in turn they can avail tickets for the show on November 19 where Coldplay band would perform. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured all the support for Global Citizen movement.
