Just days within the release of Katrina Kaif-Ranbir Kapoor starrer Jagga Jasoos hit screens, one of the actresses in the film, Bidisha Bezbaruaha has allegedly committed suicide in her Gurugram apartment. Here's are a few things you didn't know about the actress

Bidisha Bezbaruah was a popular model turned singer and actress from Assam. Her hometown is in Guawhati where she is popular for acting in a drama, Xanto Xisto Hristo Pusto Mohadusto. Daughter of Ashwini and Ranjeeta Bezbaruha, Bidisha got married to Nisheeth Jha who hails from Gujarat. Although it is a love marriage, the father told ANI that Bidisha wasn't happy was planning to file for divorce within just 14 months of marriage. The actress had been emotionally unwell and didn't get along with her husband and in laws. After staying in Mumbai for a while, the couple had recently shifted to Sushant Lok in Gurugram.

Her husband Nisheeth Jha was arrested on Tuesday evening on charges of abatement to suicide. 

A well known TV personality, Bidisha has also hosted events on stage and even danced at Bihu celebrations back home.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has spoken to Haryana counterpart, Manohar Lal Khattar to probe into her death.
