Apparently actor Abhishek Bachchan recently went to meet actor Salman Khan on the sets of his film in Bandra, putting an end to the rumoured cold war.
They haven’t worked together before, and so far not many expected them to be cast together, owing to the rumoured cold war between the two stars.
But guess what, filmmakers, who dreamt of casting the two together, may re-ignite their hopes. Buzz is actor Abhishek Bachchan was recently shooting for his upcoming film at Mehboob studios, and Salman too was shooting at the same place. But instead of avoiding each other, the two apparently met and chatted for quite sometime, as if they were always friends.
A source who witnessed this says, “The crew knew that both stars are shooting for their respective films, but everyone was shocked when Abhishek came to meet Salman, who was busy in a shot. Abhishek preferred waiting for him till the shot was over. When Salman came to know about this, he at once went to meet him and while Abhishek extended his hand to greet him, Sallu went ahead and hugged Ab Jr. Then the two stars sat and were bonding like two old friends do when they meet after a long time.”
In fact, sources claim that Salman also went to drop Abhishek till his car. “Though they haven’t worked together, Salman has worked with actor Amitabh Bachchan in many of his films and shared a good rapport with Sr. Bachchan. However, rumours about things being rough between the two Bollywood boys started when Abhishek married actor Aishwarya Rai four years ago.
But looks like many actors now are preferring to bury their old hatchets and let bygones be bygones. Examples are: Priyanka Chopra-Hrithik Roshan, Salman-Priyanka, Karishma-Raveena Tandon and now the latest ones to join the club seem to be AB Jr. and Salman. Well one can only hope that in this friendly season, some old friends (Salman-SRK) too come back together!
