Emraan Hashmi's 'Raja Natwarlal' does average business at the box office

Emraan Hashmi has been desperately waiting for a hit for the longest time now, but it seems that the actor will have to wait longer. Despite being an out and out commercial film, Emraan's 'Raja Natwarlal' has not opened up to a good occupancy.

Given Emraan's huge fan following and his commercial value, this will be a setback for the actor and his fans. The film under-performed and the first day collections were way below expectations. 'Raja Natwarlal' could only manage an average business of around Rs 5 crore on the opening day. The film could not even pick up in the evening shows, which definitely is a signal for the film's poor performance.

Stakes were high for Emraan, who has been desperate to have a hit under his belt because all his last outings could not do great business at the box office. And with 'Raja Natwarlal' following suit, it seems that Emraan needs to up his game from here onwards.
